I am a seamstress by trade. I've had a sewing needle and thread in my hand since the age of five. I'll be 36 years old this year - that sure is a lot of time sewing. I went to college for Art Education and concentrated in ceramics during my time there. I always keep coming back to sewing though. I enjoy doing period costume sewing when I am not plushing. A lot of my plush work is inspired by my mate, my mother, and my son.

I hope this isn't too abrupt, but where do you buy your heckin fabric??
it's not abrupt at all lol. I get a lot of my minky from fabric.com. I took a quick look at your profile and saw you're based in Europe - shipping fees might be an issue. plushaddict.co.uk/ is an option but i don't know what shipping fees are like. I found this too: www.minky-europe.com/products. but again i don't know what shopping on their website is like. If you have a local fabric store it never hurts to shop there. Quilting shops sometimes carry nice shannon brand minky for making baby blankets but their colors are probably limited. Polar fleece is fine for making plushies if you're having trouble finding materials. (but get the nicest you can afford to avoid it looking junky really quick, cheap fleece pills easy)
